Contract data processing with Google
We have concluded an agreement for data processing with Google and apply the strict regulations of the German data protection authorities in full to the use of Google Analytics.
On the basis of article 6 section 1 subsection 1 paragraph f of the GDPR, we use social plug-ins from the social networks Facebook and Instagram as well as from YouTube on our website in order to raise awareness for our agency in this way. The underlying promotional purpose is deemed to be a legitimate interest under the terms of the GDPR. Responsibility for data protection-compliant operation must be assured by the relevant provider. We have integrated these plug-ins using the so-called two-click method in order to provide optimum protection to visitors to our website.
Social media plug-ins (“plug-ins”) from Facebook are deployed on our website to personalise the user experience. To this end, we use the “LIKE” and “SHARE” buttons. These are a service provided by Facebook.
When you visit a page of our website containing such a plug-in, your browser will establish a direct connection to Facebook servers. The contents of the plug-in are transferred to your browser direct by Facebook, which integrates them into the website.
The integration of the plug-in supplies Facebook with the information that your browser has accessed the relevant page of our website even if you have no Facebook account or are not currently logged into Facebook. This information (including your IP address) is sent by your browser direct to a Facebook server in the USA and stored there.
If you are logged into Facebook, Facebook can attribute your visit to our website direct to your Facebook account. If you interact with the plug-ins such as the “LIKE” or “SHARE” buttons, the corresponding information will also be transferred direct to a Facebook server and stored there. The information will also be published on Facebook and shown to your Facebook friends.
Facebook may use this information for the purpose of advertising, market research and for designing Facebook pages to meet user requirements. In this process, Facebook creates usage, interest and relationship profiles, e.g. to evaluate your use of our website with regard to the advertisements displayed to you on Facebook, to inform other Facebook users about your activities on our website and to provide additional services in connection with the use of Facebook.
If you do not want Facebook to assign the data collected via our website to your Facebook account, you must log out of Facebook before visiting our website.
You can find more information on the purpose and extent of the collection of data and how they are processed and used by Facebook, as well as your related rights and settings options for protecting your privacy, in Facebook's Data Policy at (https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/).
Our website also uses plug-ins from Instagram, which is operated by Instagram LLC., 1601 Willow Road, Menlo Park, CA 94025, USA (“Instagram”).
